I notice that in many documents and even in the Video series on workbook 2 lab 1 multicast there is no mention of mtrace or show ip rpf.

Why are these commands left out of many troubleshooting docs and when would they best be used?

Only minor typo on the diagram of Serial interface on R3.
R3-> R2 should be S1/3
R3-> R1 should be S1/2.

Otherwise, everything is PERFECT !

It seems from the article that interfaces Serial 1/2 and 1/3 on the diagram at R3 are exchanged and should be interchanged to correctly depict the right topology.
